The menu changes each time, which is a plus. Climb the stairs and you'll find a Western-style, slightly retro interior. First Visit (July 12, 2025) Menu: Beef Cutlet Curry (¥1,180), Medium-sized Curry Review: The flavor of a nostalgic Western restaurant. The medium-sized portion is generous enough, and it comes with fukujinzuke pickles, pickled radish, and ice cream after the meal. The curry is rich and flavorful, so delicious you'll think "this is amazing!" the moment you put it in your mouth. Third Visit (July 17, 2025) Menu: Hamburger Set (¥1,400, includes corn soup and salad) Impressions: I visited because I wanted to try other Western dishes besides curry. The hamburger had a mild flavor and the refreshing acidity of the tomatoes. The corn soup was also delicious, making for a relaxing dining experience perfect for my final night. “ I went to Madras, a long-established curry restaurant, for the first time in a month. I arrived around 12:00 on a holiday Monday. The parking lot is located underneath the restaurant, and there was only one available space. The restaurant is quite large, and the left half is often used, with only two seats available. I ordered karaage curry, level 5 spiciness. I waited about 10 minutes. They provided a knife, cut the karaage into bite-sized pieces, and then poured the sauce over it. I was able to eat the entire karaage in one scoop, which increased my satisfaction. I highly recommend it. They also served ice cream after the meal, which was a great satisfaction. I've been coming here for about 40 years, and it was as delicious as ever! Thank you for the meal. ”
